The client provided several reports and asked for a summary document to be prepared that included the most important aspects of the longer documents.
Reports were assessed and content extracted which was rewritten to appeal to the specified audience.
After the content was approved it was graphically designed ready for print and placing on the client’s website.
I met with the client to discuss concept and structure. The client provided plenty of information so I could understand the various aspects of this State Emergency Service Unit. The client wanted to upload its own information but requested I wrote the opening paragraphs for each of the pages.
I discussed concept with my graphic designer and he designed the site. The client was given a proof for comment and/or approval. Any changes were incorporated and once the site had been approved, we supplied a small manual on how to operate the content management system so the client could update the site.
Although this Unit is only small and located in a regional town, it was important that the site looked professional and met all the client’s requirements.
The client was extremely happy with the look and feel of the site and has received plenty of positive feedback.
As part of my contract as the Public Relations Consultant to AQWEST-Bunbury Water Corporation, I was required to prepare the Annual Report. Information was written by particular team members and I edited and rewrote those reports where necessary. Once the content had been approved the Annual Report was graphically designed in the formats that had been agreed with the client, for example, print version, web version and interactive pdf.
The cover image was carefully chosen to highlight a major project that had happened during the reporting period. Internal images were chosen to complement the text.
I also requested printing quotes and commissioned a printer.
This Annual Report was a finalist in the WS Lonnie Awards.
